Intervention of writing date of the present time, on actual drawing, to mark date of decomposition of the orginal flower from Mexico, of which the figurative drawing is the subject of the portrait, was done on the physical drawing, done today march 18th 2023 by me, Nicole McDonald-Fournier. Hi !

5 years in the life of a hibiscus flower, first day fresh, soon in the heat of Mexico, quickly curls and decomposers feast, to dry and then transform, the invisible to the human eyes of the processes of microbiotic biodiversity movements. here is the living dried photo of the real hibiscus flower and leaf and the drawings I made of two captured moment or instance in time of its short flower existence, due to microbes eating it up quite quickly. drawing and installation on paper, digital photography and performance by flowers, biodiversity of invisible microbes facilitated and "mise en scène et en valeur" par / by Nicole McDonald-Fournier me ! these are words written drawn that i wrote in 2010 , to begin the 11inches by 14 inches drawing book, representing the interconnectedness of the invisibility in biodiversity that are the reason for beginning

after making these drawings,  these words came to me, I wrote drew these words to begin the book that contains these drawings, the drawings make up the book, done in 2010.

Today in 2023, now, i think, that, as a way to understand what I was doing, or so a way to understand these visuals, for myself, I wrote : « It was from the performance on the visualisation of the invisibility of the interconnectedness in biodiversity »  I wrote that because I did a performance that year in the streets of Montréal, Québec, Canada, my home city, the neighbourhood where my father Jean-Jacques Fournier grew up, called Mile End https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mile_End,_Montreal

here is two links to the info from that performance, and some of the even early biodiversity drawings, that i called «Imaginary interconnected organisms» 2009

Journées de la Culture - le Mile-End - Performance "Organismes imaginaires interconnectés" / "Imaginary interconnected organisms" Performance

Une performance sur la visualisation de l'invisibilité des interconnections dans la biodiversité / A performance on the visualization of the invisibility of the interconnectedness in biodiversity.

Today i see these drawings, in march 2023, for the first time again, after 13 years, or at least 10 years or so. A rediscovery today i write in march 2023: abstract organic forms in movement, it feels what is possible, comes out and the possibility exists for ever and endless possibility of abstract to the human eye organic forms , can be created. I never know what will emerge, i get lost in the process and then suddenly i look up and there is something, that i never thought would emerge. That i remember thinking and living in 2010. words that still resonate with me today in 2023 «..... drawings representing the interconnectedness of the invisibility in biodiversity. .....» the performance in the street that inspired me to do these drawings «...... drawings representing the interconnectedness of the invisibility in biodiversity. ....» words written drawn : « cloth as skin, skin as cloth, stretched, pinned, safe, safety pinned.

This is a piece of cloth from a dress. This piece of cloth is stretched and ...... This piece of cloth is from the gallery -dress . The gallery-dress, worn as a gallery...... drawings representing the interconnectedness of the invisibility in biodiversity. It was from the gallery dress worn (I wore) for the walk in the street about the complexity of biological diversity.
